Juicy Cheese Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1/4 cup dried bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 3 hamburger buns all cut in half
  • 1 fresh tomato thinly sliced
  • Lettuce leaves, cleanly rinsed
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, 1/2 cup minced onion, egg yolk, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 minced garlic clove, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 bread crumbs and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions and shape each into a party. Make sure you shape the portions into circles.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons into a none stick pan, or you can use a griller. Cook the burgers, turning sides until golden brown on both sides. After 5-10 minutes remove the patties from the stove.
  3. Cut the burger buns into half, and lay them in the pan or on the grill until they nicely toasted.
  4. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the bun bottoms. Add lettuce, tomato patty, barbecue sauce, onions, and add a bit of salt and pepper for taste.

Yield - Makes 3 servings

Total - 25-30 minutes
